Feeding the Hungry: SSH’s Ration Distribution During COVID-19

When the COVID-19 pandemic struck, millions of families in Pakistan were left struggling without jobs, food, or hope. With faith and compassion, SSH launched a ration distribution campaign, ensuring that no one in our community had to go to bed hungry.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat…” – Matthew 25:35

Amid lockdowns and uncertainty, our volunteers risked their safety to deliver food essentials to the most vulnerable:

Flour, rice, and lentils for daily meals.
Cooking oil, sugar, and tea for sustenance.
Milk and baby food for infants and mothers.
Sanitizers and masks for hygiene and protection.

A Ray of Hope in Dark Times

“We had nothing left. My husband lost his daily wage job, and we were starving. Then, SSH knocked on our door with food. It was a miracle,” shared a widow from Lahore.

“In these difficult times, we are reminded of Proverbs 19:17:** ‘Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.’**” – SSH Volunteer
